A poem I wrote for AP English that I’m kinda proud of:
Glory be to God for imagination -
For music of passion-tones and art in technicolor;
For chords that pull the heart and strokes that keep you up at night;
Finger-blisterers and brain-blisterers; the Eggman and the Walrus;
Tapestries woven from raconteurs - complex, tangled, true;
So many weapons: a pen, brush, or string.

Storytellers
I love a band that can tell a story. That’s what intrigues me. More than catchy tunes, heavy beats, or tight riffs. If a band can tell a story with an album, that’s just so cool to me.

Listening to the Diamond State Choir in the E-Wing. Rather soothing. Then they started chanting, “Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!”
