“I’m the son of rage and love.”
Very poweful lyric to me. I really connect with it and the rest of the American Idiot album. Ironically, Green Day has the tendancy to only bring out the rage though. Which is something I’ve struggled with for awhile now, balancing rage and love. I abuse the rage like a drug, it scares me sometimes. I’ve taken 21st Century Breakdown out...
